I wish americans could have the pleasure of knowing what true coffee tastes like :) Real coffee is served in tiny cups, it is quite strong and flavored. It's not a watered-down coffee aromatized water served in jumbo cups and tasting like crapola. For a good cup of coffee try Portugal or Italy :) If you are in America, take a trip to newark, I'm sure you will find some Portuguese brands there.

I mean something, not someone :)

But I can't see how someone that isn't clearly defined, regarding which there seems to be no consensus, can even be misrepresented. You need an "authoritative" representation of something to be able to misrepresent it.

I realize that, but that definition is according to who? because I find several different ones, and how am I suppose to know who to trust heheh. Yours seems to be like... existence equals non-existence in value, so living or dying, is the same, no one is better or worse than the other... did I grasp your meaning? hahah:) And sorry to stress this, but... dismissal of objective truth is self-contradictory, because you have to assume that at least the claim "there's no objective truth" is objectively true. Same with "all is relative" "you can't know anything" It's that old paradox of the liar from Thebes by zeno. :)

Yes. On that particular video he didn't provide sufficient support for the title's claim. when you follow someone for a long time, you get that ensemble vision of his whole work, and previous videos. You get one thing on this, another on that, so it's harder to see gaps, because they complement eachother.

I guess that's one way of looking at it. Even though I disagree on this, I think you really should check more of that guy's videos, I am certain you will find him sort of brilliant on other issues, specifically political philosophy/anarchism. I've been following him for over 6 months now, and I keep favorizing a lot of his work. Also, check XOmniverse and the canadian philosopher stefan molineux (stefbot) ( on youtube.)

Though I do know that the author believes that nihilism is inherently contradictory. Like relativism, it's a philosophy that suffers from the so called stolen concept fallacy. The relativist that claims that all is relative must assume the absolute nature of such claim. In the same sense, a nihilist, meaning a person who believes in the meaningless of everything, and therefore a person that doesn't really believe in anything, must include himself and his own beliefs in the same meaningless in that he "believes"... So either he believes that he is wrong in believing anything (including his views) or he disbelieves in everything (including himself) so how much of a nihilist can anyone be? hmmm I come to the conclusion that there is no (coherent) nihilist, which is the same as saying there are no nihilists, because noone can be a nihilist due to its impossible inner nature (self-contradicting concept) Now my head hurts!

You know what... I agree with you... this video only "proves" that someone who enters into a debate is not a nihilist, it does not address the strong possibility of there being people who actually live by nihilism, not debating at all...
