that seems to be a very simple setup.. all you need is an svn host server and a local client such as tortoisesvn. but im just trying to figure out the best way to check out a working copy onto the live server without meddling around with the shell prompt on the live server...
The point of the LOL was that we all know that 0.99GB = 1GB RAM, but he didn't know that. To us, 0.99GB = 1GB and 247MB = 256MB, so we never bother about it, because we know why and how. It's just funny when someone who doesn't know comes up with something like "0.99 GB." That's all.
No trouble with Vista, because everything goes into the right folders (documents, videos, music etc.). The convenience of having just one drive/folder structure with all data in it far outweighs the benefits of the flexibility of multiple partitions.
